Since we have had so many friends from all over the place wish us well during this pregnancy and since there have been so many of you that live outside of Florida tell us that you wish you could be there to celebrate at some of our baby showers, we decided to open the phone lines up.
During the next episode of “The Adventures of Wayne and Tina” we’d like to play some of the voicemails that you have left us in celebration of this baby coming soon!
If you’d like to participate in our “Online Baby Shower”, all you have to do is call (352) 397-4615 and leave us a voicemail!
Oh, and if you’d like to actually send something to “Baby C”, here’s where we’re registered:
We spent this past weekend running through Babies R Us and Target with a laser gun… a LASER GUN!
It was a lot of fun but I had no idea how tiring it would actually be. We started out by driving to the “big” Babies R Us store in Clearwater since there isn’t really one near our place except for a Toys R Us that kind of has a “Baby Corner”. Once we got there they took down our information and then we were set free with the laser gun!
I thought maybe this would be one of those “personal shopper” experiences but they really let us loose… alone… with very little direction.
So here’s the disclaimer. We’re first time parents; so go easy on us. We know we doubled up on some things and that’s mainly because we know that not everyone has a Babies R Us or Target near-by. But all three stores we registered at, (Target, Babies R Us, and Amazon.com) have online shopping and even some shipping deals too. That way if you’d rather ship it straight to our door you can!
The links are below, and thank you so much for all of the love and support!
Tina and I celebrated New Year’s Eve in Delray Beach at their First Night celebration. We even got to make our own New Year’s crowns. I think Tina looks like a princess!
3. Tina has jumped into a new endeavor as a Math Coach. She’s teaching teachers in the area of math, and is adjusting to a whole new type of education position.
2. The Jeep got a new top which means that Wayne has been letting his … um, “hair” blow in the wind more often.
Every year, we gather our friends together for a Cordova Christmas tradition! We swap cookie recipes, share some laughs and compete to see who has the best tasting, most original, and most creatives cookies.
We had the privilege of hanging out with Molly Hartsfield Friday night and Saturday morning! We decided to head over to the Ethnic Festival at St. Joan’s for some rides. Molly picked which rides Tina and I got to ride with her. It was fun playing with her, the dogs had a great time too, and Molly was on her BEST behavior!
Brad, Sabrena, Paul, Erin, Tina, and I were given tickets to the Tampa Bay Lightning game for Pastor Appreciation Month! Thank you so much Ken & Cheryl, Richie & Marion!
